Fabulous Cowichan-Style Vests

The Cowichan Style Sweater Vest class is winding down. Such great work!
This is Sydney's  'swimming with the whales' design. Roisin regrets not taking a photo of the back with nice positioning of two whales.  Love the pockets on this and the white crocheted armholes.  Creativity flowing.

Diane's snowflake design on a vest, medium size. Knit with Briggs & Little Roving.
Diane modelling her vest.  Note her expression in the second photo.... "I ripped this ?*#*&! collar out 10 times" !!

Diane has already started on her 2nd vest, using a vine pattern and different colours.  We think this looks natural and traditional.

Carola's effort - voted the 'best' by all participants.  We loved her use of hand-dyed yarn colours in this.  Can't wait to see it finished.

Roisin's large size Cowichan Style vest, using mostly handspun yarns, some of Katrina's local yarn in the eagles.  Juvenile eagles on this sweater.   Roisin is looking for elk horn buttons...nothing else will do.
